EASY Unsweetened Carob Hazelnut Spread "Notella"

Missy J's "Notella"
In honor of National Chocolate Day and I am making this
NOT CHOCOLATE Hazelnut Spread. 
EQUIPMENT
  • Food Processor, Blendtec, Vitamix or Magic Bullet
  • Double Boiler
INGREDIENTS 
  • 1 cup Roasted and skinned Hazelnuts
  • 1 cup Missy J's Unsweetened or regular Carob Chips
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 2-2 1/2 tbsp liquid coconut oil (MCT)
INSTRUCTIONS
  1. Melt carob chips and coconut oil in a double boiler.
  2. Grind Hazelnuts in grinder of choice till sand like consistency.
  3. Add melted carob/oil mixture into the ground hazelnuts and blend.
  4. Add vanilla.
  5. Continue to blend to smooth consistency.
  6. Enjoy

OPTIONS:

  • Add powdered allulose, monkfruit drops or sweetener of your choice.

NOTES:

  • You can keep on your counter or refrigerate. 
  • Either enjoy right out of the refrigerator or let sit out for ½ hour to spreadable consistency.
  • Always eat in accordance with your dietary requirements.
